Cloud technology represents the greatest change in the information industry since the computer revolution in the 1980s; not only does it change the lives, it also creates all new Blue Ocean opportunities. In response to the coming of the cloud era, the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan established a cloud computing center in 2009 for research and development of system software services and cloud computing applications. In 2012, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, TAITRA collaborated with the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association and held the Taiwan International Cloud Technology & Internet of Things Show to help the cloud industry fight their way into the huge global market.
