中國大陸貿易救濟信息網公布，本(2021)年8月27日，USITC投票決定對特定植絨拭子及其下游產品和方法（Certain Flocked Swabs, Products Containing Flocked Swabs, and Methods of Using Same）啟動337調查（調查編碼：337-TA-1279）。

本年7月9日，義大利Copan Italia S.p.A. of Brescia, Italy、波多黎各Copan Industries, Inc. of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico向USITC提出337立案調查申請，主張對美出口、在美進口和在美銷售的該產品侵犯其專利權（美國註冊專利號9,011,358、9,173,779、10,327,741），請求USITC發布有限排除令、禁止令。
