  RFQ: High-Volume Production – 30mm Sports Connector Cube (Steel Inserts) Project Overview: We are looking for a manufacturing partner for a high-impact sports training component. We need a 30mm x 30mm cube with integrated steel surfaces on all 6 faces for magnetic attachments. Key Requirements: Dimensions: 30mm Cube (rounded edges). Function: All 6 sides must act as magnetic contact points. Inserts: 6x Steel Discs (approx. 16mm x 2mm). Crucial Feature: Direct metal-to-magnet contact is required (no plastic covering the center of the discs). Durability: The steel parts must be permanently locked into the plastic. They must withstand high impact (kicking/dropping) and strong magnetic pull-force without loosening. We are looking for your Expertise: We are open to your best manufacturing suggestions for high-volume production (Insert Molding, Ultrasonic Welding, or others). The goal is a "one-piece" feel with maximum structural integrity and NO manual gluing. Volume & Scalability: Initial Order: 10,000 units. Annual Forecast: 100,000+ units. Requirement: Capability for automated production and strict Quality Control. Please provide: Your recommended manufacturing method for this application. Estimated Tooling Costs (Multi-cavity mold). Unit Price for 10k, 50k, and 100k units. Lead time for prototypes. Please find attached a photo of my current functional prototype for your reference regarding the design and intended use.
