The venue was opened on the 18 of May this year, after prolonged construction, due to additional features. With a seating capacity of 6,000 plus an additional 2,000 seats, it can accommodate a total of 8,000 spectators. However, during concerts, the arena can host up to 15,000 people, making it a possible venue for large-scale musical events.

The construction of Arena Burgas was driven by the desire to provide a competitive facility that can rival the prominent halls in Sofia, Plovdiv, and Ruse. While the arena may have fewer seats compared to “Arena Sofia”, it was the inclusion of a full-fledged athletics track that necessitated such a reduction in seating capacity.
