Record turnout expected at TIMTOS 2015

TIMTOS is now Asia's second largest machine tool show. This year the show is projected to smash its own records by attracting a huge turnout of domestic and international buyers.

Already 1,015 exhibitors have signed on for TIMTOS to occupy a total of use 5,411 booths - a record number in the biennial exhibition's history.

The list of Taiwanese exhibitors to appear at TIMTOS 2015 include Hartford, Victor Taichung, Goodway, YCM, Tongtai, Quaser, AWEA, Chevalier, Chmer, Hiwin, FFG, Chin Fong, SEYI.

Among the international exhibitors to join this year’s show are high profile names including Mazak, DMG Mori, Yasda, JTEKT, Sodick, Mitsubishi, TRUMPF, KUKA, FANUC, Siemens, Bosch, Citizen, igus, and Blum.

More than 7,000 international visitors will be at TIMTOS representing major machinery importers from Turkey, Russia, India, Brazil, Mexico, the Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia. They will be joined by a projected 46,000 domestic visitors.

The 2015 TIMTOS will be held at the NANGANG Exhibition Hall, TWTC Halls 1 & 3, and, starting this year, at the Yuanshan EXPO Dome. Over the past four decades, TIMTOS has undergoing tremendous growth alongside the industry that it promotes. Meanwhile, Taiwan has become the world’s fourth largest machine tool exporter.

TIMTOS (The 2015 Taipei Int’l Machine Tool Show) is co-organized by Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) and the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI). The biannual show will take place this year from March 3rd to 8th.
